Secure payments, transparent platform fee and a clear view of your work

GiGzy’s payment and invoicing flow is built to be reliable and transparent, so you can focus on performing, not chasing transfers.

How the financial side works

Bookings paid outside the platform are not covered by our cancellation policy, artist replacement or support in case of disputes.

Payments via Stripe

All payments go through our partner Stripe, a payment processor certified to the highest security standards. Your card and business details are handled with banking-level protection.

Funds in a segregated account

The amount paid by the client is held in a segregated account until the event is completed. Neither GiGzy nor the artist can move the money outside the platform rules.

Automatic invoicing & Tax compliance

Invoicing is handled through software certified by the Portuguese Tax Authority, with invoices issued and reported automatically. Less admin, more control.

FAQs GiGzy Artists

Does it cost anything to join GiGzy as an artist or provider?
There is no monthly fee to create and maintain your profile. GiGzy earns through a transparent platform fee on each booking made and paid through the system (for example, around 15% of the artist or service fee, depending on the type of act and agreement). The fee and the net amount you receive are always visible before you accept a booking.
You can be booked for hospitality gigs (restaurants, bars, hotels), weddings, private parties, corporate events, brand activations, kids & family entertainment and more, depending on what you choose to offer on your profile.
Most gigs currently happen in Portugal. Being based in the country or having availability to travel here regularly makes it easier to get booked, especially for recurring hospitality work.
Clients pay through the platform according to the agreed terms. Once the gig is completed under those conditions, payment is released to you via the chosen method. All details – including the platform fee and your net amount – are shown in the booking view before you confirm.
Yes. You keep full freedom to work outside the platform. But bookings not made and paid through GiGzy are not covered by our policies and cannot benefit from our payment and invoicing flow.
We look at experience, quality of material (audio, video, photos), clarity of your offer and how well you fit the types of gigs and clients that use the platform. The goal is to keep a curated, relevant roster – not just a massive list of names.

How far in advance should we book wedding musicians?

The earlier the better, especially in peak wedding season. Ideally 6 to 12 months before your date. If you’re closer to the day, it’s still got you cover.

FAQs GiGzy Business

Can I book artists directly without using GiGzy Match?

Yes. You can use the GiGzy platform to book artists directly, either by browsing profiles or posting requests. GiGzy Match is the consulting and monthly curation service for those who want a dedicated partner.

The client pays through the GiGzy platform. The amount is held in a segregated account and released to the artist only after the event, according to the rules set out in our Terms and Conditions. In case of a dispute, the payment can be held until it is resolved.

By paying through the platform, you get support with cancellations and disputes, organised invoices, booking records and history per venue. Payments made outside the platform are not covered by our policies.

No. In addition to musicians, DJs and bands, you can book performers, entertainers, special acts and production services (sound, lighting, video, etc.). The aim is to have everything you need for your entertainment programme in one place.

We can configure your GiGzy account to manage several venues, with views per unit, region or group. Ideal for restaurant and hotel groups that want a consistent experience and control over their entertainment spend.
