White Soba
White Soba is a DJ and musical artist who grew up between Angola and Portugal, deeply influenced by jazz through his father. Although he didn’t appreciate jazz during his childhood, that influence shaped his musical identity. His musical motto is: “Jazz is my Religion & House is my Groove.” 🎷🎶
He began his journey as a DJ in Angola, where he had the opportunity to play at the iconic Elinga Teatro/Club, an underground venue that hosted artists such as Robert Babicz, Rui Vargas, and Djeff. Since moving to Lisbon in 2022, he has performed at various clubs and events, including Catch Me, Lodo by Cais, Ferroviário, and Reverse.
He was a weekly resident at Reverse in Estoril and now continues this journey at Montes de Argila, in Montargil. His talent was recognized when he won the Oxigénio radio contest “Last Night The DJ Saved My Life” with a jazz-inspired set. 🎧🔥
